  • This event has been postponed until further notice.

Build a solid foundation of content knowledge for teaching mathematics.
Then learn how to extend that knowledge to your students, using the TQE Process.

The TQE Process emphasizes three key aspects of a teacher’s role:

Select tasks that strengthen students’ conceptual and procedural knowledge.

Use targeted questioning strategies that are guided by student responses.

Seek evidence of student learning through the formative assessment process.

Authentic classroom videos are integrated throughout the event to help teachers, coaches, administrators, and district leaders develop a common vision of classrooms where all students succeed in mathematics.

  • Learn how to implement the TQE Process in planning, teaching, coaching, and assessing.
  • Use the eight Standards for Mathematical Practice to drive engagement and achievement.
  • Develop mathematics action plans within a professional learning community (PLC) culture.
  • Reinforce the collaborative environment across your district by building consistent and deep content knowledge among all mathematics educators.
  • Explore topics appropriate to specific grade bands, including: word problems, place value and operations, geometry, algebraic reasoning, statistics, and more.
