Margaret Deiotte is a consultant specializing in grant proposal design, development, and writing; strategic planning; program design and evaluation; and RTI implementation.
Margaret T. Deiotte is a consultant specializing in grant proposal design, development, and writing; strategic planning; program design and evaluation; and RTI implementation. She served as the program evaluator for the RTI implementation at a 60-site school district and led the systemwide evaluation process, including interfacing with the external researcher. This was the first systemic research and evaluation of RTI in a large district setting. Margaret serves on the Colorado Department of Education Task Force for implementing HB 1223 (dyslexia/reading challenges legislation) and is the board chair for the Colorado Legends and Legacies Youth Corps.
Margaret served as vice president of Logical Systems, a computer software firm. Her experience in business and education led her to work with nonprofit organizations. She has founded her life on increasing the capacity of nonprofits to be successful and has been a consultant and grant writer for schools, school districts, and community nonprofits for more than 25 years. She regularly works with nonprofits in education, health care, social services, youth services, and the environment.
Margaret has been recognized for outstanding contributions to School District 11, SET of Colorado Springs, the Rampart Library District, Colorado PTA, and numerous other organizations.
She holds a BS in business with an emphasis in public administration and is a graduate of the Indiana University Center on Philanthropy’s fund-raising school.
