Linda Fulmore

Linda Fulmore, EdD, is a consultant with an interest in helping schools develop and sustain professional learning communities in mathematics. She has over 30 years of experience in education, including roles as classroom teacher, administrator, district coordinator, community college instructor, and facilitator of professional learning. The focus of her work encourages teachers to use data to inform their instruction and assessment practices.

Dr. Fulmore has a passion for equity and social justice. Her research includes formative assessment strategies that offer beginning moments of understanding for students underperforming in mathematics. She chaired three equity summit conferences in Phoenix, Arizona, bringing together teachers and leaders from K–12 schools and the community college to collectively address social justice issues and education.

Dr. Fulmore has served as secretary, first vice president, second vice president, and on the leadership academy core staff for the National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics. Additionally, she chaired the Achievement Gap Task Force for the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, participated in its equity summit, and served on regional and national program committees. She also serves as treasurer of TODOS: Mathematics for All and is a member of the Benjamin Banneker Association. She has received numerous outstanding educator and community service awards.

Dr. Fulmore has a doctoral degree from Northern Arizona University, a master's degree from Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne, and a bachelor's degree from Ball State University.
