2-Day Workshops

This two-day workshop empowers teachers and school leaders with an understanding of the Dirigo Literacy framework of The Upward Spiral of Literacy. Participants will leave with an understanding of the general tenets of the science of reading and reading development. Through examining evidence-based literacy practices, participants will understand how to propel students’ reading motivation and achievement, as well as understand the school and community-based contexts that influence literacy.

Teams are invited to a working two-day conference where they share the acceleration pathway, providing practical instructional strategies to ensure high levels of learning for all. Time will be allotted throughout the conference for teams to develop their own acceleration plans with the support of our expert practitioners.
