She has over fifteen years of experience as a middle school teacher, instructional coach, and district literacy specialist in a recognized Model Professional Learning Community at Work® district. She focuses on building capacity and efficacy through hands-on coaching.

Allison Zamarripa

Allison Zamarripa is an educator, consultant, and advocate for building capacity and collective efficacy with teachers. She has over fifteen years of experience as a middle school teacher, instructional coach, and district literacy specialist in Pasadena ISD, a recognized Model Professional Learning Community (PLC) at Work® district. In this role, she focuses on building capacity and efficacy through hands-on coaching. She is well versed in developing assessments to inform teaching practices, high standards-aligned teaching, and coaching through the continuous improvement cycle to guarantee high levels of learning for all students and adults.

She has extensive experience in professional learning opportunities that collaborate around data-driven instruction, working with diverse language learners, and building strong collaborative teams at the district and state levels.

Allison completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and received her master’s degree in educational leadership from Concordia University. She holds a Texas Principal certification, as well as 4–8 Literacy, and 4–8 Social Studies teaching certifications.
