Becky Conner
Becky Conner is a specially designed instruction executive coach at the Georgia Department of Education, bringing more than 32 years of experience in education, including 18 years as a special education director. Her career in Catoosa County Public Schools spanned multiple leadership roles, including elementary principal, high school assistant principal, and special education and gifted teacher at the elementary level.
During her tenure, Becky played a key role in the district’s guiding coalition, leading efforts that significantly increased graduation rates for students with disabilities, expanded least restrictive environment options, and improved compliance while maintaining a strong instructional focus. In recognition of her outstanding contributions, she received the Lillie Moncus Award in 2017, honoring her as Georgia’s Special Education Administrator of the Year.
Becky holds a bachelor’s degree in special education and a master’s degree in educational leadership, both from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
