Glen Pearsall is a former teacher leader at Eltham High School in Victoria, Australia, and board member of the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority. His work specializes in engaging instructional practice, positive classrooms, and workload reduction for teachers.

He has been a Cambridge Education associate, a masterclass presenter for Teacher Training Australia (TTA), and a research fellow at the Centre for Youth Research at the University of Melbourne. Glen has a long-standing association with the Teacher Learning Network and was the founding presenter of the popular PD in the Pub series. He is also cocreator of Toon Teach, an animated series on managing challenging off-task behavior.

Glen is the author of several best-selling books, including And Gladly Teach: A Classroom Handbook; Fast and Effective Assessment: How to Reduce Your Workload and Improve Student Learning; and The Literature Toolbox: An English Teacher’s Handbook. He also coauthored Literature for Life: Enhancing Social and Emotional Literacy Through the English Curriculum and Tilting Your Teaching: Seven Simple Shifts That Can Substantially Improve Student Learning. His eBook on questioning, The Top Ten Strategic Questions for Teachers, was translated into Khmer for Cambodian teachers.
