
Jen Minor
Jen Minor has over 28 years of experience in education as a principal supervisor, principal, assistant principal, PLC Coach, and teacher. Her guidance for administrators and teachers significantly contributed to the district being recognized as a Model PLC School District in May 2021. Jen supports schools throughout the country with the professional learning community and response to intervention school improvement processes.
Jen Minor
In November 2021, Jen joined Solution Tree as an Associate, bringing with her a wealth of experience in educational leadership, spanning over 28 years. Throughout her career, Jen has taken on roles as a principal supervisor, principal, assistant principal, PLC trainer, and teacher. Jen has dedicated her efforts to coaching district and school leaders, teacher facilitators, and collaborative teacher teams. Her guidance for administrators and teachers significantly contributed to the district being recognized as a Model PLC School District in May 2021, underscoring its successful implementation of professional learning communities.
Jen also helped lead the district in developing a systematic process for multi-school collaborative teams across 41 schools. This guided efforts to facilitate collaboration among teachers and leaders on essential skills and content. Jen served on the district’s administrative leadership and services team for 6 years where she supervised elementary, middle school, and high school principals and played a key role in supporting leaders by guiding efforts to foster collective responsibility and strengthen the PLC culture. Additionally, Jen mentored principals at Arizona's Principal Leadership Academy and led evaluations for AdvancED, guiding schools through the process of achieving national accreditation.
Throughout Jen's time as principal, she offered the leadership and direction necessary for her school team to rank in the top 1% of all schools in Arizona and be recognized as an NCEA Higher Performing School. In addition, Jen’s school was also recognized by the Arizona Education Foundation as an A+ School of Excellence award winner. In 2012, her efforts earned her the title of Arizona’s Gifted Administrator of the Year.
Jen graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Minnesota State University in Mankato, Minnesota. She received a master’s degree in educational leadership from Northern Arizona University. Jen has presented for the Arizona School Administrators Association, Arizona Association of Gifted and Talented, as well as to schools throughout Arizona.
