Jo Brown

Jo Brown, an instructional coach and presenter, specializes in enhancing instructional practices and teacher leadership. She collaborates with educational institutions to drive improvements through professional development and coaching. With 21 years of experience in education, Jo previously served as an elementary school teacher for 16 years before becoming a coach. She currently serves as an instructional coach at Singapore American School, an international school in Singapore.

As an international educator, Jo has worked in local schools in South Africa and England, and international schools in Taiwan, Japan, Ecuador, Ghana, and Singapore. She is well versed in a variety of curriculums and frameworks, including American, British, and South African curriculums, as well as the Primary Years Programme, Reggio Emilia approach, and Concept-Based Curriculum and Instruction. Jo served as a visiting committee team member for the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

Jo earned a bachelor's degree in education, master's degree in educational leadership, and is currently completing the International Coaching Federation (ICF) certification. Additionally, Jo is a certified trainer and presenter in Conceptual-Based Curriculum and Instruction.
