Margaret Meadows

Margaret Meadows is a former teacher and principal with over 25 years of experience in elementary, middle, and junior high schools. Her focus is on underperforming schools and collaborating with campus leaders to ensure high levels of learning for all students.

Meadows has led her schools through the improvement process using professional learning communities systems as a guide. Two of her schools were named Model PLC at Work® campuses under her leadership. Her latest campus was named a School to Watch by the National Forum to Accelerate Middle-Grades Reform. All her teaching and administrative experience has been in Title I schools.

Margaret earned a bachelor’s degree in child development and family relationships from the University of Texas at Austin. She earned her master’s degree in early childhood education from the University of Houston–Clear Lake, where she also earned her principal certification. She holds a superintendent certification from Region 4 Education Service Center in Houston.
