Suzanne Gruendling

Suzanne Gruendling is an experienced principal in elementary and middle school education in Vermont. She has a passion for working with leadership teams, guiding coalitions, and collaborative teams to find the best path forward.

As a school administrator with over 20 years of dynamic leadership experience, Suzanne is highly skilled at collaboration and building relationships with stakeholders and teams at all levels. She is a solution-oriented strategist with a focus on long-term goals and collaboration and a strong ability to strategically develop systems while building resilience for students, staff, and families.

Suzanne’s professional accomplishments include successfully implementing the PLC at Work® process in an elementary school and earning Model PLC at Work status. Additionally, Suzanne has been recognized with the Vermont Governor’s Award for Outstanding Community Service and has been named a finalist for the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching.

Suzanne has a master’s degree in curriculum, instruction, and assessment from the University of Vermont and a master's degree in management from Harvard University. In addition, she has a graduate certificate in strategic management from Harvard University and a graduate certificate in project management from Georgetown University. Suzanne also was named a National Board–certified math teacher in 2009.
