Kristina Leckliter

Kristina Leckliter is an innovative educational leader who has a keen sense of understanding what teams need to transform their collaborative practice. Kristina served in various capacities, including elementary teacher, instructional coach, reading specialist, and induction mentor specialist. She is a professional learning community (PLC) trainer for a Model PLC at Work® district in Phoenix, Arizona.

Kristina’s current role is to provide coaching and professional learning opportunities to develop and guide all aspects of the PLC framework, building capacity among district, school, and teacher leaders to facilitate and participate in highly effective collaborative teams. The school district Kristina currently works in was recognized as a Model PLC at Work district in May 2021.

Before working as a PLC trainer, Kristina was an instructional coach helping to guide a high-poverty school from a C to an A rating in three years. The school was also recognized as an A+ School of Excellence, designated as a Model PLC at Work school, and named an Arizona Title I Exemplary Program.

Kristina has previously served as an induction mentor specialist, instructional coach, reading specialist, Title I and 21st century coordinator, TAP mentor, and elementary and secondary teacher. Kristina earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Arizona State University and her master’s degree from Northern Arizona University.
