Jane Pedersen

Jane Pedersen, EdD, is the director of student services in Fremont School District 79 in Illinois. In her role, she works with special education programming, early childhood curriculum and assessment, Section 504 compliance, and multitiered systems of support. Dr. Pedersen previously served as assistant director of educational services, an elementary school assistant principal, and a school psychologist for Kildeer Countryside School District 96 in Illinois.

Dr. Pedersen has presented on the topic of special education at national conferences, including at the annual conferences of the Council for Exceptional Children and the Council of Administrators of Special Education.

Dr. Pedersen received her EdD in curriculum and social inquiry from National-Louis University. She received her master’s degree in educational psychology and an educational specialist degree in school psychology, also from National-Louis University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
