Jed Kees has been an educator for over 22 years, and a school-based administrator for 15 years. He is a former science and math teacher, and a former coach. Jed has a passion for middle level education, and is currently the principal of Onalaska Middle School in Onalaska, Wisconsin.
Under Jed’s leadership, Onalaska Middle School was named a Model PLC School in 2019. OMS was only the second stand-alone middle school recognized as a Model PLC in the state of Wisconsin. Onalaska Middle School was also recognized by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with the Excellence in Partnership Award. This award recognizes schools that are instrumental in supporting and developing the next generation of teachers.
Jed received his bachelor’s degree from University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and earned his master’s in educational administration from The University of Saint Thomas.
