Sarah Hays has over 30 years of experience in education and currently serves as a principal at Emily Dickinson Elementary School in Bozeman, Montana. Prior to being a principal, Sarah worked in a number of different educational capacities: high school assistant principal, district curriculum director, and high school English and math teacher.
Sarah passionately pursues educational excellence. The art of teaching and the art of leadership are areas to which she has devoted her career. Her goals are to ensure students receive a quality education and teachers are equipped with the skills and resources to do their best work. She takes pride in the work she has done to successfully implement professional learning communities and help improve student learning.
Sarah earned a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction, and a bachelor’s degree in English with a math minor from Montana State University. Additionally, she earned an administrative certificate from the University of Montana.
