Allison Lewallen
Allison Lewallen currently serves as a principal and school support coach, where she mentors and partners with campus leaders across Pasadena ISD by leveraging the systems and strategies that drove success during her own campus leadership. With over 18 years of experience in education—including 11 years in an urban high school setting as a teacher, instructional specialist, and assistant principal—she brings a depth of knowledge and a strong commitment to student-centered leadership.
As the former principal of Morris Middle School in Pasadena ISD, Allison led a powerful transformation in both academic outcomes and campus culture. Her strategic use of campuswide data, paired with the development of collaborative systems, resulted in significant student growth and a notable decline in discipline incidents and other campus challenges. Under her leadership, Morris Middle School became nationally recognized as a Model Professional Learning Community (PLC) at Work® school.
Through a focus on building strong, collaborative teams and implementing targeted supports for both academic and behavioral needs, Allison fostered a culture of continuous improvement and equity. The school was named a Texas School to Watch for its commitment to the academic and emotional development of all students and earned the Texas School Counselor Association’s CREST Award for its data-driven approach to student and family support. She was also provided with the opportunity to further her impact by mentoring new district principals. Under her leadership Morris Middle School established sustainable, high-impact systems and earned an "A" rating with five state distinctions, which contributed to her recognition as Pasadena ISD’s Elementary Principal of the Year in 2024.
Prior to her principalship at Morris, Allison served as assistant principal and master scheduler at Sam Rayburn High School, where her leadership helped the campus earn its own designation as a Model PLC at Work® school.
Allison holds a bachelor’s degree in history and political science from the University of Texas Permian Basin and a master’s degree in educational administration from Lamar University. She is certified in social studies, special education, and administration.
