Bridget Cahill

Bridget Cahill is an ardent advocate for competency-based education, bringing years of expertise in instructional planning, professional development, and fostering learner-centered learning environments. As a dedicated educational leader, she has led districtwide initiatives to enhance instructional practices and empower learners. She supports teachers and administrators to help them transform the philosophy of competency-based education into actionable practices by designing personalized learning experiences that empower students to take ownership of their learning.

Cahill’s experiences as an educator began with teaching abroad, and her career in public education began as a middle school science teacher. Before becoming a leader at the district level, she was a middle school teacher in Westminster Public Schools for 13 years, where she planned and implemented competency-based instruction in science, literacy, and English language development.

Cahill holds a master’s degree in educational equity and cultural diversity from the University of Colorado Boulder. She also holds a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction and a bachelor’s degree in marine science and biology.
