Britney Dueling

Britney Dueling is an MTSS specialist for a Model PLC at Work® district in Phoenix, Arizona. She supports districtwide implementation of RTI at Work™ practices across K–6, K–8, middle schools, and high schools. Britney’s personal experience with retention in first grade led her to pursue a master’s degree in reading instruction, leveraging her expertise to guide school leaders in efficiently identifying and matching students for Tier 3 support in universal skill gaps.

Deer Valley District was named a Model PLC at Work and is known for its continuous improvement efforts around PLC at Work® and RTI at Work—and is an early pioneer in action research around efficient and sustainable-site intervention teams.

Britney earned two bachelor's degrees, one in elementary education and the second in special education, both from Northern Arizona University. She also holds a master's degree in reading instruction from Grand Canyon University.
