Heidi Fuller

Heidi Fuller teaches grades 7 and 8 for the Toronto District School Board and has over a decade of experience as an associate teacher, chairperson, presenter, mentor, and Ministry of Education researcher. Throughout her career, she has taught students at the primary, junior, and intermediate levels, with an emphasis on cultivating critical-thinking skills through inquiry-based learning. Heidi’s work with teachers, student teachers, and administrators focuses on effective assessment practices, including the use of learning goals, success criteria, descriptive feedback, and differentiated assessment. In her work with intermediate students, she fosters a classroom culture centered on curiosity, questioning, and the exploration of individual interests.
