Jacquelyn Buchert is currently a Teaching and Learning Coordinator in Fox River Grove, Illinois, a small district serving just under 450 students. Jacquelyn Buchert

Jacquelyn Buchert currently serves as the Teaching and Learning Coordinator in Fox River Grove, Illinois, a small district of just under 450 students. She leads the district at the beginning stages of its PLC at Work® journey, providing professional development on PLC structures, collaborative team processes, and data-driven decision making. Jacquelyn also designs and facilitates professional learning focused on strengthening instructional best practices, building collective efficacy, and supporting teachers with effective, inclusive instruction.

Prior to her current role, Jacquelyn served as an instructional coach in Kildeer Countryside School District 96, a Model PLC at Work® district. She also brings experience as a primary teacher, inclusion specialist, language development coach, and English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher. These roles shaped her expertise in supporting diverse learners, guiding teams in instructional improvement, and helping educators implement research-based practices. Jacquelyn’s background includes leading initiatives such as a districtwide SEL pilot, integrating technology and AI to enhance student access, and coaching teachers in curriculum alignment and classroom practices.

She holds a master’s degree in administrative leadership and a second master’s in curriculum & instruction, with an ESL concentration, from Concordia University Chicago. She also holds an ESL endorsement from National Louis University and a bachelor’s in elementary education from DePaul University.
