Jacye Jamar
Dr. Jacye Jamar, a former principal, has 20 years of experience in education. As a principal in progressive school districts in Texas and Oklahoma, she led initiatives that successfully achieved recognition as a Model PLC at Work school. Each school cultivated very clear collaborative systems for instructional practices, analyzing, and responding to common formative assessments, individually meeting the needs of every student while fostering high student performance and growth.
Dr. Jamar’s elementary school is recognized as a top performing elementary school in the state of Texas. At her last elementary school, Dr. Jamar was a guiding force within the North Texas Region, opening her school for neighboring districts to attend collaborative planning team meetings, data analysis meetings, and flexible grouping among all students.
Dr. Jamar holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from East Central University, as well as a master’s degree in educational leadership and School Counseling. She received her doctorate of education from the University of North Texas.
