James Simons

James Simons has always loved school—and he’s made it his mission to share that love by ensuring every learner experiences meaningful academic challenge, relationships-based psychological safety, and collaboration skills needed for long-term success and well-being.

As cofounder of cor creative partners, James collaborates with educators across diverse schools and districts, forming strategic partnerships and providing leadership, instructional support, and team-based professional learning. His areas of focus include curriculum design, pedagogy, and leadership development for both adults and adolescents.

Outside of schools, James contributes to a community of thought leaders by speaking at national conferences, creating video content, and writing for publications such as Inside Higher Ed and Edutopia. James holds a bachelor of arts from McGill University, a bachelor of education from the University of Western Ontario, and a master of arts from the University of Massachusetts Boston.
