Lyndsay Rogers

Lyndsay Rogers is a coach, consultant, and passionate literacy advocate with over 22 years of experience in elementary education. She has served as a teacher, interventionist, literacy specialist, instructional coach, curriculum writer, and professional learning facilitator. She specializes in building educator capacity for continuous improvement.

Much of Lyndsay's career has focused on transforming readers and writers as a literacy teacher and guiding educators in these same processes as an instructional coach. She has primarily served high-needs campuses, specializing in developing structures for targeting growth in literacy. She coaches teachers and teams in making data-driven decisions for students and using assessment to inform teaching practices. As a professional learning facilitator, Lyndsay is known for creating clarity for teachers and leaders while she provides personalized professional learning around effective instructional practices for literacy. In her sessions, teachers are empowered to be active participants while learning practical and meaningful methods for implementation. Educators have particularly benefited from her insight and expertise in early literacy and her experience in creating impactful instructional practices and frameworks.

Her classroom became a destination for teachers and leaders from across the district to learn how to implement successful strategies and structures for literacy. Recognized for her expertise in foundational literacy practices and targeted instruction, Lyndsay was selected to lead cohorts of educators through the state of Texas Science of Reading Academy. She served on highly collaborative campuses including a campus which earned the Model PLC at Work® School designation and which was also named a national and state School of Character.

She completed her undergraduate studies at Stephen F. Austin State University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree. She holds Texas Generalist EC-4 and ESL certifications as well as a Gifted & Talented endorsement.
