You’ve heard about PLCs—but how do you actually make them work across a whole district? In this session, participants will learn how to effectively implement and align the concepts and practices of professional learning communities (PLC) districtwide. Janel will highlight what effective collaboration looks like at both the elementary and secondary levels and share examples of district collaboration tools that have a tremendous impact on teamwork. She’ll also explore the benefits of joining the national cohort and partnering with Solution Tree to launch and sustain PLC work across your district. You won’t want to miss this webinar!
Participants will:
- Learn how to align the work of all collaborative teams in the district
- Explore the accordion process to accomplish PLC at Work districtwide, determining essential standards and developing common formative assessments
- Understand the importance of setting cascading goals starting from the superintendent and the board of directors
- Observe effective collaboration at the elementary and secondary levels
- Gain insights from current district leaders who have successfully implemented PLCs districtwide

Can I join if I have missed a session?
Yes, you can join a book study at any time during its live broadcast.
Will a copy of the book be provided to participants?
No, a copy of the book will not be provided. You may order the book at any time. We encourage you to have a copy of the book to more closely follow along with the presenter, but having a copy of the book is not required.
Do you offer certification or proof of attendance?
Certificates are provided to attendees of live book study sessions only. Certificates are emailed to all attendees of live sessions approximately one week after the webinar. Certificates are not provided to viewers of recorded sessions.
