ExSEL Institute: Empower Students with the Skills Needed to Thrive in the Classroom and Succeed in Life
- $749.00 per person for teams of 5 or more
- Solution Tree is in frequent contact with the staff at event venues to get updates about new or updated COVID-19 guidance from local and state officials related to events and public health. We have proactively taken steps to promote the health and safety of our attendees, associates, and staff.
We don’t always know how to define it or even what it looks like, but educators understand that the need for social-emotional learning (SEL) is no longer in question. This vital process helps students understand and regulate their emotions, comprehend different points of view, show empathy toward others, and develop confidence as they master these intrapersonal and interpersonal skills.
This institute features trusted educational authors and experts as they explore the many ways social-emotional skills strengthen student success and lead to safer, more positive schools and communities. You will discover that SEL does not detract from required academic learning but rather is a crucial part of it. Keynotes and breakout sessions will delve into the myriad choices available to teachers to seamlessly integrate opportunities for social-emotional skill development. Bring your team to learn systems and structures that will benefit the school as a whole, as well as strategies each teacher can integrate tomorrow into daily instruction.
Attend this event to:
- Gain strategies to help students establish and maintain healthy and rewarding relationships with diverse people and groups
- Acquire processes to engage students authentically and build deeper relationships
