Randy Pippen

Randy Pippen, a consultant, has more than 40 years of experience teaching at the K–12 and college levels. Specializing in mathematics, he provides training on the PLC at Work™ process and CCSS.

Randy retired as assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction from Lisle #202 School District in Illinois. He was also a mathematics teacher, department chair, technology coordinator, and grant coordinator and taught for several years at North Central College after retiring from Lisle.

He is a past president of the Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics and a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics. Randy was instrumental in the creation of the Illinois Assessment Frameworks and Mathematics Descriptors and the 1997 Illinois Mathematics Standards. He has also worked with the Assessment Division of the Illinois State Board of Education. Randy received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics and Honorable Mentions from the Presidential Awards program.

Randy holds a bachelor of arts in mathematics and a master of arts in mathematics from Eastern Illinois University and a Type 75 Certificate in administration from National Louis University.
