AllThingsPLC.info, a site powered by Solution Tree, recognizes the highest-performing PLCs from around the globe—and now we celebrate the very best of these schools. The annual DuFour Award honors one outstanding Model PLC that demonstrates exceptional levels of student achievement.

What you’ll win

One winner will receive $25,000 and five free registrations ($3,895 value) to the 2020 Summit on PLC at Work® in Phoenix, Arizona, January 28-30, 2020.

Solution Tree is now accepting applications for the 2020 DuFour Award. The application entry deadline will be November 1, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. EDT.

2019 DuFour Award Winner Announced

Minnieville Elementary School in Woodbridge, VA, was recognized as the DuFour Award winner on February 21, 2019, at the Summit on PLC at Work® in Phoenix, Arizona.

2018 Winner: Woodlawn Middle School
2017 Winner: Fern Creek High School
2016 Winner: Mason Crest Elementary School

How to enter

Complete the DuFour Award application, including creating a video showcasing why your school should win $25,000. The application entry deadline is November 1, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. ET. In January 2020, Solution Tree will notify the top three finalists, and the winner will be announced during the 2020 Summit on PLC at Work®.

Guidelines

In your application and video, we want to see your school’s commitment and dedication to:

  1. Building a successful professional learning community
  2. Improving student learning
  3. Advancing instructional best practices

Please note: In order to be considered for the 2020 DuFour Award, a school must be approved as a Model PLC.

The application deadline is November 1, 2019.
