One Iowa education leader who has made a difference with the help of Solution Tree is Bryce Amos, former superintendent of Carlisle Community School District. Under his leadership, Carlisle became a Solution Tree Model PLC at Work® district. In addition, the district has seen significant growth in student learning and has received multiple honors and awards, including the Breaking Barriers Award from the Iowa Department of Education for achieving 98 percent proficiency on state math and reading assessments among Hispanic students for three consecutive years.

Now, in his role as state office executive director for Solution Tree Iowa, Amos stands ready to connect districts throughout Iowa with the right resources to help build effective, sustainable school improvement plans.
