Christine Davis

Christine Davis has more than 25 years of educational experience as an elementary teacher, math specialist, instructional coach, curriculum writer, and Title 1 program coordinator. Her primary focus is to use collaborative practices to close gaps for all students. Christine currently serves Klein ISD in Harris County, Texas, as a math curriculum specialist and instructional coach.

For over 20 years, Christine has provided instructional coaching support to high-priority Texas schools in Klein ISD and Aldine ISD. She firmly believes that collective efficacy can transform learning for students. She specializes in utilizing data to guide instruction through the PLC model, response to intervention, guided math, numeracy and math fluency, formative and summative assessment writing, curriculum development, and closing learning gaps for all students.

Christine is currently serving on the Conference for the Advancement of Mathematics Teaching (CAMT) development team. She has been named professional of the year, inducted into Who’s Who in America’s Colleges and Universities, and models guided math instruction for education students at the University of Houston. She is a member of National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM).

Christine completed her undergraduate studies at Texas State University. She completed graduate school at the University of Houston Clear Lake. Her graduate studies continued at the University of Houston in curriculum and instruction. Christine was an associate professor at the University of Houston and the Art Institute of Houston before teaching in public schools. She holds certifications for generalist 1-6, EL, and GT.
