Jeff Byrnes

Jeff Byrnes is the principal of Mountain Meadow Elementary in the White River School District in Buckley, Washington. With over 20 years of experience in elementary education, Jeff specializes in the implementation of professional learning communities and multitiered systems of supports at the elementary level. He has also served as a teacher, assistant principal, and administrator in Arizona and Washington.

Mountain Meadow was recognized as a Model PLC at Work® School in 2016 and was named a finalist for the DuFour Award in 2019. In 2021, Mountain Meadow was recognized by US News & World Report as one of the highest-performing elementary schools in Washington State. Throughout the year, Mountain Meadow hosts teachers, administrators, and district leaders to observe their professional learning communities.

He received his bachelor’s degree from St. Martin’s College and his master’s degree from Seattle Pacific University.
