Jodi Bonnette, an instructional coach at Singapore American School, has taught internationally for over 30 years. In addition to Singapore, she has worked in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Osaka, Japan.

Jodi Bonnette, an instructional coach at Singapore American School, has taught internationally for over 30 years. In addition to Singapore, she has worked in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Osaka, Japan.
She has successfully led the implementation of reading and writing workshops at Singapore American School in grades K–5 and continues to support teachers in being responsive and assessment-driven. As a consultant, Jodi has supported literacy and assessment in several international schools and has presented on reading, writing, and portfolios for the East Asia Regional Council of Schools, the Near East South Asia Council of Overseas Schools, the Japan Council of International Schools, the Association for the Advancement of International Education, and ASCD. Jodi’s passion is getting kids and teachers excited about reading and writing and helping them become lifelong learners.
She holds a master’s degree in education and a literacy coaching certification from the Association for the Advancement of International Education. Jodi has extensive training in reading and writing workshops and coaching from The Reading and Writing Project at Teachers College, Columbia University.
