Bonnie Richburg

Bonnie Richburg currently serves as the elementary specialist for the Madison County School System in Alabama. Previously, she has served as a classroom teacher and a reading coach. In 2017, she became the assistant principal at Moores Mill Intermediate School (MMIS), where she helped foster a culture of collaboration that centered around the belief that all students can learn at high levels. In 2020, MMIS was recognized as a Model PLC at Work® school in Alabama. Bonnie was named principal of an elementary school in the summer of 2020.

Bonnie is a passionate educator and a lifelong learner. She graduated from McNeese State University with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. After several years of teaching, Bonnie graduated from Grand Canyon University with a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction in reading. She went on to receive a master’s and an educational specialist degree in instructional leadership from Samford University.
