Brad Voehringer

Brad Voehringer has over 33 years of experience in education, serving as a superintendent, assistant superintendent, and building administrator. Most recently, he led Morton Grove to become a Model PLC at Work® school district and raised student achievement to the highest in the township. The district now ranks amongst the top 10% performing districts in Illinois.

Brad Voehringer

Brad Voehringer has more than 33 years of experience in education. He has served as a special education teacher, department chair, assistant principal, director of special education, assistant superintendent, and superintendent. Brad has presented at several conferences on topics such as special education, school law, professional learning communities (PLC), culture, response to intervention (RTI), and leadership. Brad has also taught several graduate-level courses in school leadership and school law.

In his seven years as superintendent in Morton Grove School District 70, Brad led the district’s transformation from one of the lowest to one of the highest performing districts in the township. This transformation occurred by using the PLC process to help staff define and refine their professional learning community practices. In 2022, the district achieved Model PLC at Work® status.

Brad earned a bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University, a master’s degree from the University of Illinois (Chicago), and an educational specialist degree in school leadership from Northern Illinois University. In 2018, Brad completed the AASA National Superintendent Leadership program. Brad was recognized for meritorious service by the Illinois State Board of Education in 2022.
