Craig Cullen

Craig Cullen, PhD, is an associate professor of mathematics education at Illinois State University and a former high school mathematics teacher. He works with preservice secondary mathematics teachers, regularly teaching methods courses and supervising student teachers. Additionally, he is serving as a co-principal investigator for a research project funded by the National Science Foundation.

Dr. Cullen has many publications focusing on young children’s development of measurement concepts, as well as the role and use of technology in mathematics education.

He earned a bachelor of science in mathematics secondary education from Illinois State University, a master of arts in mathematics education from DePaul University, and a doctorate of philosophy in mathematics education from Illinois State University.
