Deb Page

Deb Page is owner and president of the Institute for Performance Improvement, which trains and certifies school improvement specialists, performance improvement specialists across all sectors, and adult development and performance support professionals. She is a former senior executive director of the Georgia Leadership Institute for School Improvement and senior vice president for Citibank—and began her career as a high school language arts teacher. Her purpose, and passion, is to develop professionals to facilitate learning and performance journeys for collaborative improvement, innovation, and implementation.

Deb is a certified performance technologist and longtime member of the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI). She has collaborated with former ISPI president Judith Hale to develop and validate standards and certifications for professionals who guide collaborative performance improvement. Deb is a lifelong, self-directed learner who has studied under international performance improvement experts such as Judith Hale, Gloria Gery, and Robert Brinkerhoff, the leading expert in adult learning transfer to practice. She completed her High Performance Learning Journeys® certification in 2018 and her Certified Performance Improvement Facilitator™ certification in 2019.

Along with having published numerous performance improvement journal articles, Deb has contributed chapters to Fundamentals of Performance Improvement (2012) and Improving Performance Through Learning (2019). She is also the coauthor of The School Improvement Specialist Field Guide, first edition (2013) and second edition (2024).

Deb holds a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Georgia.
