Amanda Meadows, EdD, is a middle school resource specialist for Madison County School System in Huntsville, Alabama. She has supported the work of professional learning communities (PLC) as a middle school instructional coach, assistant principal, and K–12 assessment specialist.

Dr. Meadows has been part of the implementation process for two Madison County schools that are now recognized as Model PLC at Work® schools. She served Buckhorn Middle School as an instructional coach during the beginning phase of implementation and was assistant principal at Sparkman Middle School from implementation through their Model PLC at Work designation.

She is a National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT) and a member of the Alabama NBCT Network and the Council for Leaders in Alabama Schools. She holds a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction, an education specialist degree in administration and supervision, and a doctorate in educational leadership.
