Brad Neuendorf

Brad Neuendorf is the principal at Lander Valley High School in Wyoming, where he also served as the assistant principal for four years. With nearly 20 years of public education experience under his belt, Brad has also served as a social studies teacher and activities director.

Brad took over at Lander Valley High School during its transition to a new block schedule, created to build in intervention time for students throughout the school day. In an attempt to continually enhance student learning through reflective practices and improved instruction, Lander Valley started its professional learning community journey. With an already prominent schoolwide culture of continuous improvement, there was immediate buy-in from staff, and Lander Valley quickly prioritized standards, created proficiency scales, and created a standards-based grading system to serve its 550 students.

These efforts, as well as subsequent gains in student achievement data, led Lander Valley to be recognized in 2019 as a Model Professional Learning Community, as well as a finalist for the prestigious DuFour Award in 2020. “The Lander Valley High School Story” was featured in the Summer 2020 issue of AllThingsPLC Magazine.

Brad attended the University of Idaho, where he received a bachelor’s degree in secondary education, and a master’s degree in educational leadership. In 2018, he was named the Secondary Principal of the Year by the State of Wyoming.
