Dr. Corey Green began his tenure as superintendent of the Owego Apalachin Central School District in 2016. Before joining the team at Owego Apalachin, Dr. Green served as assistant superintendent at the Sidney Central School District for five years.

Dr. Corey Green began his tenure as superintendent of the Owego Apalachin Central School District in 2016. Before joining the team at Owego Apalachin, Dr. Green served as assistant superintendent at the Sidney Central School District for five years. Previously, he held the position of elementary/middle school principal from 2007 to 2011.
Under Dr. Green’s leadership, Owego Apalachin was designated a Model PLC at Work® district by Solution Tree in 2020. Dr. Green’s passion is improving student achievement while also using student cooperative partnerships to build a strong community connection centered on workforce development with industry leaders.
Dr. Green received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York, a master’s degree from Walden University, and a doctorate in educational theory, research, and practice from Binghamton University.
