Eileen Garris

Eileen Garris serves as the assistant principal at Blytheville Primary School in Blytheville, Arkansas. In her previous role as a kindergarten teacher, Eileen was named Teacher of the Year for her school in the 2015–2016 school year. In her current role, she leads and supports her school and teacher teams through the PLC at Work® process by maintaining a focus on the three big ideas and the four critical questions of a PLC. Blytheville Primary School was named a Model PLC at Work school in the fall of 2021. Eileen is devoted to building collective teacher efficacy through the collaborative work of teams.

Eileen earned a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
