Haley Vogel, EdD, is assistant principal at Pine Island Academy in St. Johns County, Florida. Her more than 20 years of experience in education includes six years as a school leader and 13 years teaching. She is passionate about working with teacher teams to rethink assessment.

Haley Vogel, EdD, is assistant principal at Pine Island Academy in St. Johns County, Florida. Her more than 20 years of experience in education includes six years as a school leader and 13 years teaching biology, anatomy and physiology. She also has experience as a site-based testing coordinator.
Dr. Vogel’s heart is in working with teacher teams to rethink assessment to meet the needs of their students. Following her passion in educational leadership, Dr. Vogel designed a coaching and mentoring course and has taught action research for the University of North Florida’s education master’s program in curriculum and instruction. She is an active member of the Florida Association of School Administrators (FASA), serving on both the conference and legislative committees. Additionally, she participates in FASA’s annual Advocate Conference to work with legislators on educational impacts.
She earned her doctorate of education in curriculum and instruction from the University of North Florida as well as her master’s degree in educational leadership. She earned her bachelor’s degree in health education from Florida State University.
