Jenny Gracyalny

Jennifer Gracyalny, EdD serves as the assistant superintendent of teaching and learning in the Pulaski Community School District in Wisconsin. She has served as an elementary and middle school principal/associate principal and a secondary agriscience teacher/FFA advisor. Professional learning community (PLC) work in her schools began in the 2000s and was revitalized in 2015 with a district focus. PCSD was named a Model PLC at Work® district in 2023.

With 33 years in education, she has educational interests in and a passion for PLC at Work, student engagement, technology integration, the 4Cs, grading/feedback, assessment for and as learning, active and flexible learning spaces, professional development for adult learners, school culture, building teacher capacity, Career and Technical Education (CTE), and global learning. Dr. Gracyalny has been honored with the Chinese Exchange Initiative, AWSA Elementary Principal of the Year Finalist, 2000 Golden Apple Winner for Partners in Education, Wisconsin Agriscience Teacher of the Year, and WAVAI Young Member Award. She serves on the Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Executive Leadership Council and AWSA Professional Concerns Taskforce. Her research “The Perceived Effect of Learner-Centered Pedagogy in Secondary Active Learning Spaces and Impact on Student Engagement” has been published in the Journal of Learning Spaces.

Dr. Gracyalny earned her doctorate in leadership in innovation and continuous improvement, her master’s degree in educational leadership, and her bachelor’s degree in agricultural education. She also holds a district administrator license and a director of instruction license.
