Lakesia L. Dupree

Lakesia L. Dupree is a mathematics instructional coach, with experience teaching at the elementary level. She specializes in helping teachers integrate research-based practices into their mathematics instruction.

She has presented her work on coaching at regional and state conferences hosted by the Eastern Educational Research Association and Florida Council of Teachers of Mathematics. Lakesia is a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators, and National Association of Professional Development Schools.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Duke University and a master’s degree in teaching from the University of South Florida. Currently she is pursuing a PhD in elementary education with a focus in mathematics education at the University of South Florida.
