Louise E. Donaghey

Louise E. Donaghey is an international educator and trainer with more than 20 years of experience. A former classroom teacher and Primary Years Programme (PYP) coordinator, Louise currently serves as an elementary instructional coach at Singapore American School. She collaborates with more than 30 teachers as part of large grade-level teams. Louise thrives on data-driven conversations to improve both teacher and student performance.

Louise’s career has included facilitating workshops in Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. In addition to classroom teachers, she enjoys working with other diverse groups such as instructional assistants and Chinese and Spanish world language teachers.

Louise’s passion is helping others to maximize their strengths and skills. She achieves this through personalizing her approach to suit the context within which she is working. As a certified cognitive coach, international literacy coach, PYP workshop leader, Understanding by Design trainer, and Strengths Practitioner, Louise’s repertoire consists of many different tools and approaches. She has an unwavering commitment to the belief that ongoing learning and integration of strengths leads to success in any field.

Louise earned a master’s degree in international learning styles.
