Luke Francois

Luke Francois, EdD, is superintendent of Waterford Union High School in Wisconsin. Formerly, he served as the executive director of fiscal services, athletic director, and a mathematics teacher. He specializes in the continuous improvement process to support the work of PLCs in small rural and large suburban districts.

Dr. Francois was named the Rural Schools Superintendent of the Year in 2018 and recognized as one of the first superintendents in Wisconsin to create a nationally recognized PLC school. He has more than 20 years of PLC experience, specializes in coaching leadership teams, and has worked with singleton teachers and large content area teams. Dr. Francois is a member of AASA, ASCD, the Wisconsin Rural Schools Alliance, and the National Wrestling Hall of Fame.

He received a master’s degree in education from National Louis University, a master’s degree in educational administration from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and a doctorate from Edgewood College.
