Nathan Manley serves as the assistant superintendent of instruction in the Neosho School District. During his nearly 20 years of experience, Nathan has also been a classroom teacher and principal, leading the development of five different professional learning community school recognitions.

Nathan Manley

Nathan Manley is the assistant superintendent of instruction at Neosho School District in Neosho, Missouri. Following his time as a teacher at Seneca Elementary School, Nathan served as the principal of Seneca Intermediate School then rose to the position of assistant superintendent of the Seneca R-7 School District. His leadership focused on building the capacity of staff in best practices in order to meet the needs of all students. Three of the schools within the district were recognized as model PLC schools in the state of Missouri, while one was recognized as a Model Professional Learning Communities (PLC) at Work® school through Solution Tree. Two schools were also recognized as National Model PBL schools.

Nathan has now been the assistant superintendent of instruction for four years in Neosho School District. Since his tenure began, he has helped two schools reach Model PLC at Work and High Reliability Schools (HRS) Level 1 status.

Nathan has presented at local, state, and national conferences on topics including PLC, response to intervention (RTI), leadership, problem-based learning (PBL), and STEM education.

Nathan earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Missouri Southern and a master’s and specialist degree in educational leadership from William Woods University. He is currently on track to receive his doctorate in 2023.
