Peter Hayes is the former director of Solution Tree Australia and the Asia Pacific Region. He has been involved in education for more than 25 years, with experience in schools, system offices, and the corporate sector.
Peter has held senior leadership positions in education in Victoria, Western Australia, and New South Wales. He is a former national director of education for the Australian Council for Education and regional director and team leader for Catholic education. He also led development of teacher knowledge in Brunei Darussalam as project director for the Ministry of Education.
His key areas of interest include professional learning, pedagogical renewal, and the development of learning cultures in schools. He has published and presented his research and commentary in state, national, and international conferences and journals. In 2010 the Australian Council for Educational Leaders awarded Peter a certificate in educational leadership.
