Sarah Stobaugh

Sarah Stobaugh is principal of Morrilton Intermediate School in Arkansas. With 16 years of experience in upper elementary/intermediate and secondary-level education, she is passionate about the work of collaborative teams to transform school culture by building teacher capacity and ensuring learning for all students.

Sarah has served as a teacher, literacy/instructional coach, assistant principal, and principal at multiple grade levels. Her experience in both the classroom and leadership has equipped her to build and support high-functioning collaborative teams and support leaders as they transform school cultures by focusing the crucial work of a professional learning community (PLC). As a presenter, Sarah specializes in PLCs, the work of collaborative teams and the guiding coalition, building leadership, and response to intervention.

As principal of Morrilton Intermediate School, she led the school through the PLC at WorkⓇ Project as a Cohort One School selected by the Arkansas Department of Education. Morrilton later earned the distinction of being named a Model PLC. Sarah serves as a member of Arkansas’ state guiding coalition focused on developing PLCs throughout the state by providing support to other Arkansas schools and leaders.

Sarah earned a bachelor’s degree in English education and theatre from the University of Central Arkansas, a master’s degree in both curriculum administration and educational leadership from Arkansas Tech University, and an educational specialist degree in district leadership from Arkansas Tech University.
