Stephanie Luke

Stephanie Luke is a visiting instructor at the University of Central Florida, where she teaches elementary teacher candidates mathematics and science methods courses. She also serves on the Lake County School Board, representing District 5.

Stephanie started her teaching career in Lake County, Florida, in 2000. After completing her master’s degree in 2006, she became an elementary mathematics program specialist, in which role she implemented curriculum mapping, benchmark testing, and professional development based on current standards. She also established Lake County Schools’ STEM Bowl Competition.

She has participated in several state-level FCAT committees, including Standard Setting and Item Review. In 2011, she worked as a project manager for the district’s Race to the Top Initiative, helping to establish the newly revised teacher and leader evaluations.

Stephanie received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education and her master’s degree in science and mathematics with an emphasis in technology from the University of Central Florida.
