Veronica C. Rodriguez, EdD, serves as the curriculum and instruction world languages and dual language coordinator at Pasadena Independent School District, located near Houston, Texas. With more than 23 years of experience in education, she has served in various capacities, including as an elementary teacher, high school counselor, high school assistant principal, and a district-level administrator.

Dr. Rodriguez’s expertise includes establishing professional learning communities at campuses and implementing data analysis processes to drive instruction. She successfully led an “academically unacceptable” rated campus to an acceptable status in the state of Texas. Furthermore, Dr. Rodriguez established systems at both district and campus levels to ensure English and multilingual learners advance academically and graduate on time from high school.

Dr. Rodriguez has been instrumental in implementing collaborative teams, creating a unified vision, and establishing essential standards plans across campuses in her district. Her experience as a master scheduler at a populous 6A campus has enabled her to successfully navigate challenges and facilitate meaningful collaborations for all.

Dr. Rodriguez holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, a master’s degree in counseling, and a doctorate in professional leadership from the University of Houston.
