Vic Schneidman

Vic Schneidman, an educator since 1963, knows how to apply effective classroom management. He teaches biology and serves as a mentor to new staff members at El Rancho High School in Pico Rivera, California. Vic began his career as a physical science teacher at Ralph Waldo Emerson High School in Yonkers, New York. At Duarte High School in California, he provided support for new teachers, wrote and directed grants for peer mediation and conflict resolution, served as a department chair, and was a member of the advisory committee set up to adopt science textbooks for the state of California. Vic has also instructed classroom management courses at San Diego University.

Vic received a Math and Science Award from the Los Angeles Educational Partnership, Golden Apple Award from the Foundation for Self-Esteem, and Teacher of the Year Award from Duarte Unified School District. He is a sought-after expert in classroom management for secondary schools. Vic facilitates workshops and presentations on Lee Canter's Classroom Management for Academic Success, Assertive Discipline®, Succeeding with Difficult Students®, and relationship-based classroom management.

He earned a bachelor of science and a science education degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
